The summer! :)
Summer is finally here and we are so excited. Courtney and Rachel were glad to get out of school. Although we are going to miss our friends it feels good to have school off our plate. I haven't been doing good with my blogging and I will try to keep it up. I love how you guys keep sending me comments it really keeps me busy and I like to know that we're staying in contact. We just came back from organ and we had a blast. we went up there to visit Sara (my older sister). She definetally made shure that she soaked up all the time she could get with us. She would wake us up at like 7:00 in the morning and tell us to get up and go. But even though it was a hard thing to wake up so early we always had fun. Also, dad was used to it because he usually wakes up at like 5:00 in the morning. I'll try to show some pics if Sara ever sends them to me. Even though we brought the camera, Sara was always the one that was taking the pics. It was like the camera that we brought was some kind of foreign thing to us and we didn't know how to use it. Well I'll try to keep up the blogging. have a FABULOUS summer!!! :)

Courtney's Poem
Courtney's teacher gave her an assignment for the holidays. She had to write a poem about a topic that you liked. So this is what she wrote:
Cat Soup
By: Courtney Zierenberg
The cat is fat,
The rat is hungry,
Dawn is breaking,
The world becomes sunny,
And the soup is getting hot!!!
The rat is getting hungrier,
The cat is supicious,
The rat is taking action,
The cat... looks so delicious,
And the soup is getting hot!!!
The rat sneaks into the night,
Leaving all his fear behind,
YIPS! The cat yells from the bushes below,
But knowone hears his cries,
The more time he takes,
The more the soup gets hot!!!
Into the kitchen without a sound,
The rat runs through the night,
Stealing vegetables and spices,
For his soup... a delight,
And remember the soup is getting hot!!!
Back to the burrow he ran,
And there sat a pot and a frying pan,
In went the vegetables,
And in went the spices,
And in went the mouse,
Because the cat traded places!!!

A very merry christmas
Our Christmas was great although we didn't have a lot of people to celebrate the joy of Christmas. Ashley and mason came down for Christmas. Weston came home from the airforce and he will be stationed soon. We recently went to a christmas party at my grandma's house. It was lots of fun. We got a chance to visit our family. Rachel was trying to be very good this year because she wanted santa to come to our house and leave LOTS of presents. My uncle and aunt came also. We were all glade that we were able to have a full christmas with lots of presents!!! Have a great NewYear! :)

Our Thanksgiving get-together
We had the most amazing Thanksgiving day. We all woke up to the smell of french toast, eggs, and toast. It was DELICIOUS!!!!!!!! MY dad went out to the beach for the day and went boating with his friend Troy. He was so excited. When he got home we were just about to start eating. My dad carved the turkey and the ham. After that I never thought that I would eat for another month. Than the desert course came on and I reconsidered. After dinner I got everybody together and we played games. I all turned out to be a great day.
